You’ll find that we’ve done everything we can to make you feel right at home in this colourful and cosy space, complete with all the modern amenities you could ask for, including a wood-fired hot tub, wood-fired pizza oven and a sundeck with stunning views of your very own private wildflower meadow.
If you’re a nature lover, well, you might never want to leave – regulars to the sun deck include our resident barn owls. Plus, you can access the sundeck right from your bedside, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee, birdwatching, or stargazing!
The master bedroom is furnished with a chunky solid-wood kingsize bed and a memory foam mattress that’ll give you the best sleep of your life. The second bed is a comfy pullout sofa bed in the living room downstairs.
Speaking of stargazing, with no light pollution here, you can gaze to your heart’s content while relaxing in the wood-fired hot tub.
The bathroom is fully finished with all the comforts of home, including a flushing toilet and walk-in shower. Plus a fully-equipped handmade kitchen. If you’re visiting in BBQ season, we’ve got you covered with BBQ packs from excellent local producers, with both meat and veggie options available.
Rain or shine, there’s always something to do at Lower Longwood. Take a dip in the wood-fired hot tub under the sail shade, or explore the woodland walks that trail around the site and listen to the birdsong in the trees surrounding the cabin.

We do not recommend swimming in the ponds. The soil here is clay and you’ll get yourself in a proper mess.
You can walk around the site and there are plenty of amazing sites to see. Due to the nature of how we live here, we don’t recommend cycling around the woods/meadows as you may pick up punctures from brambles. Feel free to stick to the lane though and cycle into the nearby towns and villages.
